Becca Wierwille
Author Visits
Thank you for considering inviting Becca Wierwille to your school, homeschool group, or other organization. When Becca was a child, she was so grateful for the chances she had to meet authors—mostly through school visits!
Becca offers both in-person and virtual visits, with a variety of presentation options for grades K-8th.
- Becca uses slideshows for her presentations. For in-person visits, the school will need to provide access to a screen and the ability to connect a laptop for projecting visuals. If a microphone is required for a large group presentation, the school will need to provide that as well.
- Presentations last about 45 minutes each (depending on the grade level and group) and include time for Q&A at the end.
- For in-person visits, you can request a book signing time after the presentations.
- Virtual sessions are not recorded.

What Teachers and Students are Saying
“My third graders were captivated by Becca’s book presentation. They listened intently as she described how God orchestrated her life, including her experiences with and without prosthetics, and how it has influenced her writing. Becca gave an enthusiastic presentation and inspired the students in their own quests to become authors. I can’t wait to read her book!”
“We loved having Becca come and visit our school! Because she is a former teacher, she knew exactly how to engage and keep students interested from Kindergarten through 6th grade. Students loved being able to ask her questions both about her being an author and about growing up looking different from other kids; had we had the time, they could have asked her questions for hours.”
“As a former teacher, Becca did a remarkable job of engaging our elementary students. It was evident that she loves sharing about her experiences as an author. What a wonderful opportunity it is for our students to meet and learn from ‘a real life author!’”
“The author inspired me to write a book . . . She was very good at explaining things in a way that everybody could understand.”
“I enjoyed the visit because the book looked so interesting. I also enjoyed the story of how you became an author.”
“Ms. Wierwille was an exceptionally engaging author speaker and light for Christ. Her ability to speak with our students in such a simultaneously vulnerable and empowering way was a rare gift that left our students with open eyes, hearts, and minds.”
“Thank you for taking the time to visit us and for being such a powerful example of creativity, determination, and hope. It’s my final year teaching, and this visit brought me hope.”
“I loved the author visit! She was exceptional and engaging. I could have listened for longer, and that is unique!”

I offer author visits to both public and private schools and can adjust content accordingly. (In other words, a presentation at a public school will differ from a chapel presentation.) Please note that while my books contain elements of faith, unless otherwise requested, I do not include overt faith content in presentations to public schools or non-Christian private schools.
